St. Mary's church is one of most important and honored churches of India. This church is constructed in the medieval style. The word medieval means the architecture in different forms and this type of architecture was famous in the middle age. This church is dedicated to Mother Mary. People come here to confess their mistakes in front of mother Mary. This is regarded as one of the most respected and important churches of south India. This is a very sacred place of worship for the Christians. There are no restriction of castes and creed while entering this church. People break all manmade barriers of caste, creed and religion for worshipping Mother Mary. There are thousands of people who visit this place every year. The design and the construction of this church are so beautiful that it attracts even the general visitors towards it.
St. Mary's church is located on the S.D road of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. People visit here for taking the blessings of virgin Mother Mary. There are Sunday masses that are held here, during this time people pray, sing songs and even narrate some stories of the Jesus. This church is open from morning 6 am to 10 pm in night. People light candles in front of the Mother Mary and pray to bless them. There is a huge hall in the church that has the capacity to accommodate about 300 people at a time for prayers. There is a huge altar in this church where people light their candles and place them here.
There are feasts and Christmas celebrations in this church that is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm. During this period people from all over the country take the blessings of Mary. There are processions that are carried from the church through the city. In this procession they narrate the stories of Jesus.
